He has been part of three mega green field projects– leading them in engineering, construction, commissioning, operation and optimization. He has worked as Responsible Electrical Engineer, Responsible Instrument Engineer and Design Authority as per ICI RCMS; Has conducted electrical audits nationally and internationally; He has done evaluation and due diligence of Zakladz Chemiczne Fertilizer Plant in Poland and Cement Plants in Pakistan; Projects stage reviews of Power Plants; Trouble shooting of electrical High Voltage, Medium Voltage and Low voltage distribution and generation system; His experience and skills include preparing FEDMs. He’s also a trained Hazard Study Leader and hazard analyst.

Shabbir K. Hussain, Senior Consultant, is a Chemical Engineering professional with working experience in the country’s major Fertilizer and Petrochemical Industries. He has been a major player in ammonia plant debottlenecking, establishment of a new ammonia/urea train, relocation of a preowned ammonia plant, and commissioning and operation of a Petrochemical plant. He Has been part of three mega green field projects leading these from conceptual, contracting, engineering, construction, commissioning, operation and optimization. He has worked as team leader for a fertilizer plant guarantee test run. He has worked as Management Representative for ISO systems and is a trained HAZARD study leader. Mr. Hussain has carried out technical studies for an EDC/VCM/PVC and various derivatives for a Gulf client and developed HSE code for construction contractor for a steel manufacturing plant.
